Life has accumulated since the last posting. It would be impossible to recap all of the happenings as of late, but I will attempt the 'ol college try. :)

Traveling has been the constant since I landed back in Berlin after a fantastic Christmas home with family and friends. I was feeling perplexed over my break and very much needed "my people" around me to keep me grounded and normal. I am finding that being an expat has many sides to it and is received by everyone differently. I find that the more people I meet, the more I discover in myself.. parts of me that remained dormant for so long have popped out again in the company of those I meet. At the same time, I continue to meet people who have been hooked on the external change that they forgot to hold on to themselves along the way. The challenge is to remain true to self while in the middle of anywhere. Quite the conundrum!

The past 4 months have been London (Job Fair), Vienna (PYP Conference), Baad, Austria (Outward Bound Winter Adventure Trip), Kathryn visiting, and a much anticipated arrival of my parents and the Peppings.

The London Job Fair proved successful in landing a Grade 5 position at the Australian International School in Singapore. I am anticipating this opportunity in July and can hardly wait to begin this new chapter!

Kathryn's visit was too much fun. It's true when they say, "you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone." I miss her more than originally imagined.

My parents and The Peppings are coming to Berlin next week. We will be together in Berlin for 5 days and then off to the Mediterranean Cruise for 7 days! Excitement is in there air.

More later....

with love,
